Removing Friend Suggestions by Orkut on Homepage
The ‘friend suggestions by orkut’ feature picks up friend suggestions based on the number mutual friends you share with that person.
Its automatic suggested friend which are taken by Orkut system according to User Habits and Likes.
This is how you can disable the friend suggestion feature on homepage.
- From the Homepage, Click settings
- It will open My Settings Page
- Under the General Tab scroll down.
- Look for low bandwidth settings.
- Check the show the low bandwidth version of orkut option. Look below
A Tip on Friend Suggestions by Orkut
Friend Suggestion is an very good tool to find out some those orkut friends whom you know but can’t search because they don’t use a name or uses symbols in their name by font trick. This is also very useful when a friends joins orkut with whom you have lost touch. This actually helped me a lot of my school friends who joined orkut now in college.
But you would rather like to turn it off if you have lot of anonymous friends whom you don’t know personally as the friend suggestions would suggest more unknown people.
